3. Can you offer me an independent tour?

Yes we can. You can choose from independent hiking, cultural or a combination tour.

4. Which seasons are best for traveling in Bulgaria?

Plan your summer trip in Bulgaria from May to October. Winter season is from end of December to middle of April. High season is from end of June to end of August - also highest temperatures. Spring arrives early but you might expect some showers in May and June. We usually have a warm and dry September, which lasts to middle of October.

5. Do I require Bulgarian Visa?

European Union citizens, as well as citizens of Iceland, South Korea, Monaco, Norway, San Marino and Switzerland with valid international passports can spend up to 90 days in Bulgaria without a visa. Citizens of Australia, Andorra, the Vatican, Israel, Canada, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, New Zealand, USA, Serbia and Monte Negro, Romania and Croatia can spend up to 30 days in Bulgaria without a visa.

6. Do I require travel insurance?

Tourists may enter Bulgaria with insurances by foreign insurance companies. We advise you to make the necessary travel insurance in your home country.

7. Do I need to take any medical precautions?

No specific vaccinations are required while travelling in Bulgaria.

8. Is Bulgaria a safe country?

Yes.

The communism collapsed in 1989-1990 and since then Bulgaria is a democratic Republic. We are a member of NATO and since 1.01.2007 we are a full member of the EU. There are no wars or any conflicts, no terrorism attacks. Bulgarians are very hospitable people.

9. What language is spoken and what alphabet is used in Bulgaria?

The Bulgarian language is from the Slavic language family. Our alphabet is the so-called Cyrillic, which was founded back in the 9th century. We advise you to practice the Bulgarian letters because some of them differ from Latin ones. Our guides are knowledgeable, experienced and speak fluent several foreign languages.

10. How do I reach you in Bulgaria?

We are based in the capital city Sofia. Our office is in downtown - in the heart of the centre. From Sveta Nedelya Square (with the big Orthodox church) take Stamboliiski Boulevard in west direction and walk on the right side. Take the second small street on your right - it is called Lavele. You will see our signs on the left side of Lavele Street. You can see map of the place here.

11. Any recommendations?
